Bubba Torres
At the 2009 World Sledge Hockey Challenge Bubba Torres logged the game-tying goal and assisted on the game-winning overtime tally against Canada to win the gold medal. At the 2008 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships, Torres, the youngest player on the roster at the time, provided some spark and recorded two points (one goal, one assist) to help Team USA win the bronze medal. Prior to being called up to the national team, Torres was a member of the U.S. Junior Sled Hockey National Team for three seasons.
When not with the national team, Torres plays for the Pennsylvania Center-Pedes. In addition to hockey, Torres participates on his high school wrestling team at Riverside High School in New Jersey.
