U.S. Olympic Athletes

Jeremy Campbell

Jeremy Campbell became a member of the U.S. Paralympics Track & Field Resident Program in 2007, moving from his hometown of Perryton, Texas to the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center in California to live and train fulltime.

As a result of his dedication, Campbell entered Beijing as the favorite in his best event, the pentathlon. Not surprisingly, Campbell blew away his competition by setting a world record and beating the rest of the field by almost 400 points. Campbell also won gold in the men's discus F44.

Campbell graduated in May 2006 from Perryton High School (Perryton, Texas). In high school Campbell was all-district in basketball, track and football.

In addition to athletics, Campbell enjoys longboarding, the beach and playing video games.
