Alana Nichols is the first female U.S. Paralympian to win gold in both the summer (wheelchair basketball, 2008) & winter Games.
Alana Nichols' gold medal in the women's sitting giant slalom was the highlight of Day 4. Nichols was joined on the podium by teammate Stephani Victor who won silver.
