Jessica Long was the last Paralympian to win an ESPY Award, taking home the trophy in 2007.

Six U.S. Paralympians have been nominated for 2009 ESPY Awards. Swimming's Jessica Long and Erin Popovich, goalball's Asya Miller and sailing's Maureen McKinnon-Tucker are nominated in the Best Female Athlete with a Disability category, while track & field athlete Jeremy Campbell and wheelchair rugby's Will Groulx are up for Best Male Athlete with a Disability.
