Anthony Zahn lone medalist for U.S. on second day of 2010 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships

Anthony Zahn won bronze in the C1 time trial.
Though Zahn was the only U.S. athlete on the podium, several other Americans turned in strong time trial performances on Friday.
In the C4 category, Sam Kavanagh (Bozeman, Mont.) took sixth and Craig Vogtsberger (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) finished 11th, while Mike Farrell (Colorado Springs, Colo.) claimed fifth place in the C3 category.
The tandem team of Clark Rachfal (Towson, Md.) and pilot Dave Swanson (Tucson, Ariz.) finished sixth in the visually impaired category.
Competition continues Saturday and Sunday, August 21-22, with the road races.
