ROCHESTER, N.Y.--The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team split its weekend series with Canada, losing 2-1 in a shootout on Friday night and rebounding with a 3-0 victory on Saturday.

In Friday's defeat, Taylor Chace (Hampton Falls, N.H.) scored a game-tying goal with just eight seconds remaining in the game, but two Canada goals to just one U.S. score in the shootout gave Canada the victory.

On Saturday, goalie Steve Cash (Overland, Mo.) stopped all 10 shots he faced and Team USA got goals from Brad Emmerson (Amherst, N.Y.), Bubba Torres (Riverside, N.J.) and Taylor Lipsett (Mesquite, Texas) to secure the win.
