2010 Paralympic Winter Games - Team USA One Year Out Preview

2010 Paralympic Winter Games Media Accreditation
Media accreditation applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, which will be held in Vancouver, Canada, March 12-21, 2010.

In the United States, U.S. Paralympics, a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee, will handle the accreditation process for U.S.-based news organizations from the request stage through allocations and final submission to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The accreditation procedure will apply to written and photography press, non-rights holding radio and television broadcasting companies and internet journalists.

Completed applications, along with headshots (please see photo requirements on application), should be emailed to Beth Bourgeois, U.S. Paralympics, at beth.bourgeois@usoc.org. Deadline for applications is December 1, 2009.  Download the application by clicking the "2010 Paralympic Winter Games - Media Accreditation Form" link on the right (Word).

All applicants whose data is received by VANOC prior to December 1, 2009 will be eligible to receive their Personal Identity and Accreditation Card (PIAC) prior to their travel to Canada.

All non-rights holding broadcasters (ENR) must be accredited through the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Anyone interested in obtaining an ENR credential should contact Steffi Klein, IPC Media and Communication Senior Manager at steffi.klein@paralympic.org.
