Military Sports Camps
Paralympic Military Sports Camps are multi-day events for veterans and military personnel with physical injuries that aim to introduce individuals to a variety of summer and winter sport opportunities. During each camp, participants attend sports clinics conducted by Paralympic athletes and coaches. All service members attend the camp at no cost. Expenses related to travel, lodging and meals are covered by the USOC.
"The overall experience during the camp played a huge role in my overall rehabilitation process. The camp's effects had more of an impact than you could possibly know."
- Specialist E4 Chester Triplett, U.S. Army
Please note that due to limited space availability, submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance to participate in a camp. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted with further details.
The 2010 Paralympic Military Sports Camp schedule will be released soon and will be posted here once it is available. For information on participating in these camps, please contact Laura Ryan.
