2011 World Cup
The Para-Cycling High Performance Director will present a London 2012 qualification strategy for 2011 and 2012 UCI events. This strategy will ensure the US Para-Cycling team maximizes UCI Nations Ranking points which will ultimately determine the US Team size in London.
Based on this strategy athletes will be named for 2011 competitions using results from the 2010 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in Baie-Comeau, Canada August 13 – 23, 2010. The top ranked athlete by class will have first consideration to fulfill this strategy after consultation and agreement with the High Performance Director, Para-Cycling. If for some reason the top ranked athlete is unable or unwilling to execute the agreed upon qualification strategy the High Performance Director in consultation with the US Paralympics Team Leader, Sport Performance will use discretion in naming a replacement athlete.
